1. Touching base

After sending through your initial inquiry into my online coaching services you will receive either a phone call or a scheduled Skype call (for international clients). During this initial telephonic consultation I will introduce myself, find out a little bit more about you and your training history. Once my terms have been outlined and proof of payment has been received you will be added to our revolutionary smartphone application Trainerize. Upon your initial logon to Trainerize you will be required to fill in a basic questionnaire outlining your previous medical history as well as some basic information regarding your current lifestyle habits.

2. Program design and basic education

Upon receiving the necessary information I will begin to put together a personalized training and nutritional plan based on your specific goals and level of training experience. This information will then appear on your Trainerize ready for you to follow. I'll provide troubleshooting during the implementation of the new routine as well as send you all the E-books on this website free of charge to aid in your basic understanding of the principles at work.

 

You can track lifting stats, body stats, watch our exercise videos, read our exercise descriptions, check into sessions, update progress pictures and have 24 hour access to your nutritional plan as well as send me personal messages via the built in messaging function. Every single piece of information you require to make a success of your fitness journey and the relevant feedback indicators (for coach) all in the palm of your hand. Think about it.

3. Ensuring constant progression

Despite what the internet might tell you there is no perfect training routine nor is there a perfect diet to follow. Even the most masterfully thought out plans eventually plateau and need to be adjusted. Despite my initial routines and diets being extremely solid this is where you will see the real benefit of having a good coach in your corner. 

 

Each week I expect body weight updates from all my clients (although scale weight is not everything it is a very useful indicator as to whether or not the client is heading in their intended direction) via my WalkerStrength Whatsapp group or personal message. I then make my adjustments after a brief weekly catch up with each client individually (this is above and beyond any question I'm sent during the course of the week). 

This however is the bare bones approach to giving me feedback and I've found this seems to suffice for the majority of corporate clients. However, the more serious lifters and trainees amongst you are free to send me any sort of performance indicators they can think of - the app allows for progress pictures and measurements as well as seamless integration with the majority of smart watches to determine average heart rate during training as well as estimated calorie burn. MyFitnessPal also has integration features that allow me to watch your nutritional intake over the course of any given day. I've got clients that send me videos that I critique and my clients and myself are always sharing useful articles, videos and information. I'm about educating clients, not just training them.

PAYMENT PROTOCOLS AND PRICING:

ONLINE CLIENTS: 

- Month to month billing

- No contracts. However a one month's notice period does need to be observed 

- Flat monthly rate 

- Invoices go out monthly on the 25th and clients are expected to pay up front for the month, settling said invoice on or before the 1st 

- R2000 (South African Rands) or equivalent per month

ONE ON ONE CLIENTS: 

- Month to month billing

- No contracts. However a one month's notice period does need to be observed 

- Flat monthly rate regardless of how many sessions you attend 

- Invoices go out monthly on the 25th and clients are expected to pay up front for the month, settling said invoice on or before the 1st 

- No additional gym charges from our facility

- Clients are to please stick to semi regular time slots

- Sessions can be moved provided I am given 24 hours notice  

- Sessions CAN be made up at my convenience 

- R400 (South African Rands) per training session with a minimum of two sessions per week 

- Invoices are always based on a four week month. This allows me to invoice in full over the December period while taking 2-3 weeks leave
